Matiang’i Joins Family, Friends For Burial Of David Kiarie Toro In Murang’a

Former Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i on Wednesday joined family and friends in Mairungi, Kariti Village, Kandara, Murang’a County, for the burial of David Kiarie Toro.

Matiang’i said he joined mourners to bid farewell to Toro, the son of Rev. Canon Hamuel Kiarie and Mama Josephine Toro.

He was accompanied by Jubilee Deputy Party Leader Jeremiah Kioni, former Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu, former Murang’a Senator Kembi Gitura and former Maragua MP Elias Mbau.

Also present were Kiambaa Jubilee parliamentary aspirant Lenah Koinange and Kandara Jubilee aspirant Zacharia Disanjo, among other family members, friends and political leaders.

Matiang’i conveyed his condolences to the family, describing the gathering as an opportunity for relatives, friends and leaders to stand with the bereaved family as they laid Toro to rest.
