Jubilee Party Deputy Leader Dr. Fred Matiang’i has kicked off a two-day political tour of Migori County aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots support and engaging local leaders and residents ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Dr. Matiang’i is accompanied by fellow Jubilee Deputy Leader Jeremiah Kioni, alongside a delegation of leaders from the Gusii and Kuria regions. The tour is expected to include meetings with local leaders, party officials, youth and women groups, as well as public engagements across various parts of Migori County.

The visit comes as Jubilee continues to intensify its reorganization efforts and expand its political presence across the country under the leadership of former President Uhuru Kenyatta. The party has in recent months been holding a series of grassroots mobilization activities as it positions itself for the next general election.

Matiang’i’s tour is also expected to reinforce ties between the Gusii and Kuria communities while rallying support for the Jubilee Party’s agenda in the region.
