The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) has officially launched the Africa Commerce & Industry Summit (ACIS 2026), marking the beginning of preparations for what is expected to be one of the continent’s premier trade and investment forums.

The launch ceremony, held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Upper Hill, Nairobi, brought together senior government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, development partners, business leaders, investors, and representatives of regional chambers of commerce.

The summit is designed to serve as a premier marketplace for trade, industry, innovation, and strategic partnerships across Africa, providing a platform for businesses to showcase opportunities, build networks, and strengthen intra-African trade.

Speaking during the launch, KNCCI officials underscored the importance of ACIS 2026 in promoting economic growth, expanding regional market access, and fostering investment partnerships that will drive sustainable development across the continent.

The Chamber also called on its members and the wider business community to actively participate in the summit by registering as delegates, exhibiting their products and services, sponsoring the event, and mobilizing business delegations and exhibitors from their respective networks.

According to KNCCI, broad participation from businesses, investors, and industry stakeholders will be critical in ensuring the success of the summit and positioning Africa as a competitive destination for trade, manufacturing, and investment.

ACIS 2026 is expected to bring together key players from both the public and private sectors, creating opportunities for business networking, policy dialogue, investment promotion, and cross-border commercial partnerships that will contribute to Africa’s economic transformation.
