Former Interior Cabinet Secretary and Jubilee Party Deputy Leader Dr. Fred Matiang’i is set to embark on a two-day tour of Migori County this coming Wednesday and Thursday, where he is expected to engage residents and local leaders across Kuria West and Kuria East constituencies.

On Wednesday, Dr. Matiang’i will visit Nyankore, Masaba, Kehancha, Ikerege, and Isebania in Kuria West Constituency. The tour is expected to provide an opportunity for residents to interact with the Jubilee Party’s presidential candidate as he outlines his vision for the country and listens to local concerns.

The second day of the visit, Thursday, will take him to Kuria East Constituency, where he is scheduled to hold meetings in Kiguthimo, Wangirabose, Gwitembe, Ntimaru, Senta, Masangora, and Gokeharaka.

The Migori tour forms part of Dr. Matiang’i’s ongoing nationwide grassroots engagements as he continues to meet communities across Kenya ahead of the 2027 General Election. The visits are expected to focus on governance, economic empowerment, job creation, agriculture, education, and national unity while strengthening the Jubilee Party’s support base in the region.

Local leaders and residents are expected to turn out in large numbers to receive the former Interior CS during the two-day visit.
