Jubilee Party Strengthens Grassroots Support with Tana River Leaders’ Defection

The Jubilee Party has continued to expand its grassroots network after receiving a delegation of political leaders from Tana River County who officially joined the party.
The leaders were welcomed on Thursday afternoon by Jubilee Deputy Party Leader and presidential candidate, Dr. Fred Matiang’i, together with the party’s Secretary General, Hon. Moitalel ole Kenta, during a meeting that underscored the party’s ongoing recruitment drive.
According to Jubilee, the new members abandoned their former political parties in favour of what they described as a movement anchored on unity, credible leadership and a shared vision for Kenya’s future.
The party said the latest defections demonstrate growing confidence in its leadership and its commitment to building a strong national political movement from the grassroots ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Jubilee maintains that it will continue engaging leaders and wananchi across the country as it seeks to strengthen its support base and present its agenda to voters.
