Machogu Vows to Restore Kisii County, Promises Fair Share of Development for Bonchari

Former Cabinet Secretary Hon. Ezekiel Machogu today met with delegates drawn from all four wards of Bonchari Constituency, where he outlined his vision for the future of Kisii County.

Addressing the delegates, Machogu said he is determined to reclaim and restore Kisii County from what he described as poor leadership. He pledged to provide accountable leadership focused on equitable development and improved service delivery across the county.

He assured the people of Bonchari that, if elected, his administration would ensure the constituency receives its rightful share of county development funds and resources. According to Machogu, every ward deserves equal attention and access to development opportunities regardless of political affiliation.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for delegates to discuss key challenges facing Bonchari, including infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, and youth empowerment. Machogu reiterated his commitment to inclusive governance and consultation with residents in shaping development priorities.

The engagement is part of his ongoing consultations with leaders and residents across Kisii County as political activities continue to gather momentum ahead of the 2027 General Election.
