Mystery as 67-Year-Old Caretaker Found Dead in Kisii Home

Residents of Mokongonyoni II Village in Nyakoe Ward, Kitutu Chache South Constituency, Kisii County, are in shock following the death of a 67-year-old man who was found dead inside a house where he worked as a caretaker.

The deceased, identified as James Morwabe, is reported to have been discovered with injuries under circumstances that have raised fears of foul play. Preliminary reports indicate that unknown individuals are suspected to have attacked and killed him before fleeing the scene.

The incident has sent waves of grief across the village, with neighbours describing Morwabe as a humble and hardworking man who had served as a caretaker at the property for several years.

Police officers and detectives visited the scene and launched investigations to establish the circumstances surrounding the killing and to identify those responsible. The body was moved to a mortuary pending a post-mortem examination.
