Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Tuesday held high-level consultations with  DCP Party leader Rigathi Gachagua and Democratic Action Party–Kenya (DAP-K) leader Eugene Wamalwa as opposition leaders intensified efforts to forge a united political front.

According to a statement released from Kalonzo Musyoka’s office, the meeting focused on strengthening opposition unity and building a common agenda aimed at offering Kenyans what the leaders described as a credible alternative.

The statement said Kalonzo reaffirmed his commitment to building “a united and resilient opposition” as part of ongoing efforts to restore hope and deliver better leadership for the country.

The three leaders discussed key national issues and explored ways of enhancing cooperation among opposition parties. They agreed on the need for sustained collaboration to advance the interests of Kenyans and chart a unified path toward national renewal.

“We continue our engagements, strengthening the unity of the Opposition as we work together to restore hope and deliver the Kenya that our people deserve,” Kalonzo Musyoka said in the statement.

The meeting was described as another step in ongoing consultations aimed at consolidating opposition unity ahead of future political engagements. The leaders said they remain committed to building a cohesive agenda that reflects the aspirations of Kenyans.

The consultations come amid increasing political activity across the country as opposition parties continue to hold discussions on cooperation and strategy in the lead-up to the next General Election.
