During the meeting, the two discussed ways of deepening trade and investment ties, with an emphasis on attracting more French private sector investment into Kenya while creating greater opportunities for Kenyan businesses to access new markets and partnerships.
Matiang’i said the discussions also centered on promoting collaborations that would generate jobs, stimulate economic growth, and deliver shared prosperity for both countries.
He praised Ambassador Suquet for his contribution to Kenya-France relations during his tenure and thanked him for his service in the country.
Matiang’i also wished the ambassador success in his next diplomatic assignment, expressing confidence that the strong relationship between Kenya and France would continue to grow in the years ahead
