Nation Media Group (NMG) Uganda has announced that it is gradually resuming operations following a disruption that affected its media platforms. In a statement issued on Tuesday and signed by Nation Media Group PLC Chairman Joe Muganda, the company said its television, print, radio and digital services will be restored progressively as operational arrangements are finalized.

The media house did not disclose the cause of the disruption or provide a specific timeline for the full restoration of its services. However, it assured audiences, advertisers and business partners that normal operations are underway.

“We appreciate the patience and understanding shown by our audiences, clients and partners during this period and appreciate your continued trust and confidence in our brands,” the statement reads.

The company also reaffirmed its commitment to delivering trusted and balanced journalism across all its platforms as it resumes normal service.

The announcement signals a return for some of Uganda’s leading media brands under the Nation Media Group umbrella, including NTV Uganda, Spark TV, The EastAfrican, Nation Courier, Dembe FM, KFM, Ennyanda and the Daily Monitor.
