Several people were injured on Monday after three vehicles were involved in a road accident along the Bomet–Kaplong–Narok Road.

The crash, which occurred during the day, left the vehicles extensively damaged, with one public service matatu and a black sport utility vehicle (SUV) sustaining severe front-end damage. Debris from the collision was scattered across the road as members of the public rushed to the scene to assist the victims before emergency responders arrived.

According to preliminary reports, several occupants sustained minor injuries and were attended to following the accident. No fatalities had been reported by the time of filing this report.

The incident caused a temporary traffic snarl-up along the busy highway as motorists slowed down and rescue efforts got underway. Police officers and other emergency personnel later moved to the scene to manage traffic and facilitate the removal of the wreckage.
