Shabana FC has announced that it has withdrawn from its planned pre-season training programme in Tanzania after determining that the conditions at the venue did not meet the standards required for the team’s preparation and welfare.

In a statement issued by the club, Shabana confirmed that the team travelled to Tanzania on Tuesday for its scheduled pre-season activities. However, upon arrival, the club’s management and technical team assessed the facilities and environment and concluded that they were unsuitable for the team’s preparations.

Following the assessment, the club decided to terminate the training camp and return to Kenya.

Shabana FC confirmed that all players and members of the technical bench have arrived home safely. The club added that preparations for the new season will now continue locally as the team intensifies its build-up for the upcoming campaign.

The Glamour Boys thanked their supporters, sponsors, partners, and well-wishers for their understanding and unwavering support, assuring them that the decision was made with the best interests of the players and the club in mind.
