Easing of Traffic along Ngong Road–Naivasha Road Junction Flyover.

The Ngong Road–Naivasha Road Junction Flyover has been completed and is now awaiting official commissioning, marking a major milestone in efforts to ease traffic congestion along one of Nairobi’s busiest transport corridors.

The project, which has been under construction for several months, is expected to significantly improve traffic flow by separating through-traffic from vehicles accessing the junction. Once opened, motorists are likely to experience reduced delays, especially during peak hours when the area has historically recorded heavy gridlocks.

Authorities are expected to announce a commissioning date soon, with expectations high among commuters and transport operators who have endured prolonged disruptions during the construction phase.

The flyover is part of ongoing infrastructure upgrades aimed at modernizing Nairobi’s road network and improving connectivity between key arterial routes.
