The atmosphere at Gilgil Stadium in Nakuru County is filled with sorrow and reflection as families, friends, government officials, religious leaders, and students gathers for a requiem mass in honor of the 16 victims of the tragic Utumishi Girls Academy fire. The memorial service brings together hundreds of mourners who come to pay their final respects to the young learners whose lives were cut short in the devastating dormitory blaze that shocked the world.

Parents and relatives will today for the last time in public see their departed girls with emotions as they remember their good times together. Meanwhile the suspected girls who caused fire in the dormitory as it was sean in the CCTV camera continue to be held by police ase the case continues.
