Jubilee Party leader Dr. Fred Matiang’i has taken his political engagement to Kieni East, where he interacted with residents during a morning walk through Randi Village in Gakawa Ward.

Matiang’i used the engagement to listen to residents’ concerns, with discussions focusing on the economic pressures facing families and their expectations for improved livelihoods.

Residents shared their concerns and aspirations for accountable leadership, economic relief and better opportunities for communities.

The former Cabinet Secretary said leadership should remain connected to the people, stressing the importance of listening to citizens and understanding the challenges they face in their daily lives.

The Randi Village engagement comes as Matiang’i continues to strengthen his grassroots interactions, using direct meetings with residents to understand local concerns and discuss their expectations of political leadership.

For Matiang’i, the interaction with residents was presented as part of a leadership approach centred on listening, understanding community needs and maintaining a close connection with the electorate.
