Junior Starlets Shine Bright as Kenya Reaches the FIFA World Cup for the First Time

Kenya’s Junior Starlets have secured a place at the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup after defeating South Africa 3-1 in the second leg of the final qualifying round at Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday. The victory saw Kenya complete a dominant 5-1 aggregate win and book their ticket to Morocco.

The young Kenyan side entered the decisive match holding a 2-0 advantage from the first leg played in Pretoria and delivered another impressive performance in front of home fans to seal qualification.
